Sam Iannetta

Sam is a master level, professional personal trainer and nutritional consultant with more than 26,000 hours of personal training experience. He has held more than fourteen national certifications in personal training and nutrition and maintains only the best including the National Academy of Sports Medicine A.C.P.T. (Advanced Certified Personal Trainer) and National Fitness Therapy Association, Accredited Fitness Therapist.

Sam has conducted seminars for numerous corporations in the Denver area in all areas of health and fitness. He is an avid exercise enthusiast and is a two time State Champion power lifter currently holding the Colorado State Record in Bench Press in the category of Sub-masters Pure (lifetime drug free, no supportive equipment).

In order to share his views on fitness and sport with the government attempting to change some of the policy's regarding physical education for the young. He served on the board of directors of the Governor's Council for Physical Fitness a strictly volunteer group that promotes physical activity throughout the state.

Sam's specialty is creating exceptional workouts that correct core movement patterns while increasing strength, decreasing the risks of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease. He gets to the source of the problem not the symptom.

Recently I was performing an exercise at the gym and had a trainer walked up to me and asked what the exercise was and what it worked. I have been suffering with hip and knee pain for over 9 months. I have received treatment in the form or physical therapy, Rolfing, Pilates and massage. Nothing has helped as fast as the work Sam has done both on me manually and highly specific stretches and exercises that he has taught me. I finally feel that someone is helping me both understand and reverse the problem.

My exercise routine was boring but I thought it was effective in making me a better skier and runner. Sam revamped my entire exercise routine from top to bottom showing me how the machines that I was using were great for muscle size but had almost no effect on better function. I decided to do 6 sessions with Sam to work on a few problems that I was having with my vertical jump. As a physical therapist I have seen some skilled professionals before but I have never seen someone make instantaneous adjustments to form and technique on the fly that literally in minutes effected pain. Sam’s eyes are amazing it seems like he can spot a poor movement pattern a mile away.
